ESN Agder strives to help exchange students get the best possible experience as a student in Norway. As a buddy, you are playing a very important role for the exchange students, ESN Agder and UiA.
The exchange students often arrive alone without any knowledge about the culture or the language. Being welcomed by Norwegian students gives the international students a feeling of safety and helps them gain a positive first impression. This can be extremely important for the rest of their stay in Kristiansand or Grimstad.
Being a buddy gives you an incredible experience when it comes to practicing your second (or even your third) language, and you gain both cultural and social experience. Along with the exchange students you will have unforgettable experiences!
Erasmus Student Network (ESN) is an international student organization which is managed by, and for, students in 37 countries within Europe. ESN Agder strives to help exchange students get the best possible experience during their stay in Norway. ESN Agder is responsible for the buddy programme at the University of Agder.
